Join the Introduction to SUP Coaching Course – Abu Dhabi, October 26-28, 2025
Passionate about paddle sports? Aspiring or current coaches from the Middle East are invited to apply for this unique training ahead of the 2025 ICF SUP World Championships. The course aims to develop local coaching talent and grow stand-up paddling in the region.
Participation at the coaching course is free of charge, but travel and accommodation are the participants' responsibility.
Meals during the course can be pre-ordered.

introduction to stand up paddleboarding (SUP), choosing the right equipment, how to stand on the board, paddling technique, balance and stability
arms paddling

Hi, how are you ALL?
I’m Andras Szabo, international educator and sport coaching structure coordinator of the Hungarian University of Sports Science, Budapest, Hungary. As per Hungary, we have traditionally promote and achieve success and water sports, highlighting canoeing for decades. Personally, I had an opportunity to coach my crew to London 2012 Olympic Games ’A’ final. Since then, I have obtained my teaching and sport coaching certifications and diplomas in Hungary, New Zealand and Cambridge, UK, but still, there are lots to learn from you, no doubt, hence I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you very soon in Abu Dhabi.
